Mimetypes

The Mimetype of a file indicates what kind of data the file contains (e.g., pdf, png, html).

In LIMBAS the mimetype is used, for example to determine which files may be uploaded to DMS.

Mimetype Editor

To be able to easily add / modify / delete Mimetypes, please go to Admin → Setup → Mimetypes the mimetype editor. For each mimetype, a file transmission and optionally also an image are stored.
